My friend D.

We were having coffee, she was able to spear some time from her schedule.

I looked at her, she always looked the same: black messy hair, white skin, black eyes with a thick black eyeliner and a little curl under her eyes. Black shirt, black pants and a black leather jacket. The only thing she wore as accessory would be her ank. She was always smiling.
- What?- she said with a smile. God this woman and her smile could melt and iceberg. I smile back at her.

-Nothing, I was just thinking that you always look the same.- I took a sip from my cappuccino.

- No I don't!- She laughed.

We drank the coffee silently after that, whenever I looked at her she would give me a smile.

-I like doing this.- The words came out of my mouth before I could even stop myself.

She looked at me puzzled.

-What? Drinking coffee?- She said as she took another sip from her cup.

Damn her, she always likes to make me say things out loud.

-Yeah, that and also coming here with you. It is really nice to be with you.- My tone was a little bit annoyed but I couldn't help grinning at her.

- Why thank you Maria, I like spending time with you too.-
- Why do you always call me Maria?-
- That is your name, isn't it?-
-Well, yeah but you know I don't like it that much.- I looked at her, she was giving me another puzzled look.

She liked my name, and for some reason it really didn't matter what she called me it never bothered me.

- Okay fine call me Maria, I'll just have to get the hang of it.- I said raising my hands in a defeat sign.

She chuckled, and kept on drinking.

-Hey D?-
-Hmmm?-
-How come ... how come you said you love everyone?-
-Because I do.-
-Yeah but how?-

She raised an eyebrow and placed her cup in the table.

-What do you mean how? Just like that.-
-Well what if the person is like the worst ever, like a killer or something?-
-Maria, anyone can be a killer or the worst ever, it is not up to me to judge them.-
-Why not?-
-Because, I accept things as they are. I love people they are all so very interesting and nice.-
-Nice?-
-Yes, nice, everyone has the capacity to be nice and you know that better than most.-

Her last point made me look down at the floor, she was right I had know horrible people but with me they were the nicest ever because I treated them nice.

-Yeah, I do.- I looked up and smiled at her. I took another sip of my cup.

-Well Maria, I am almost out of time, lots of people to see y'know?- she took a large sip of her cup.

-D ... Can I tell you something?-
-Sure.-
-I think you are one of my best friends, and I love you.-

She stood up and gave me a hug.

-Thank you, I love you too!-
-But you love everyone.-
-I know.-

I narrowed my eyes at her and she simply gave me a kiss on my forehead and let go of me.
She started walking to the door of the Cafe when she turned around. She smiled again.

-So see you next week?-
-Sure, I'll catch you up in your place, See ya, Maria.- She said as she exited the building and winked at me.
-Bye, Death.- I smiled and drank the rest of my coffee.
